  • What does the inspector check during the home inspection?

    Our home inspectors will check a vast amount of components during the inspection process. These components include:


    - Roof

    - Exterior

    - Site grading

    - HVAC system/s

    - Electrical system/s

    - Plumbing inside the home (water supply, drain plumbing, and hot water tanks)

    - Structure (foundation and attic)

    - All interior rooms (doors, windows, outlets)

    - Bathrooms

    - Kitchen/s

  • Is a home inspection pass or fail?

    No, the home inspector's job is to provide the customer with as much information as they can so that the home buyer can make the best decision for themself. Home inspectors only observe and note safety issues and defects to provide to the customer.

  • How long does it take to perform a home inspection?

    This answer is based on the size of the home. In most cases, this process will take our home inspectors anywhere from two to three and a half hours.

  • Can I (the buyer) be present at the home inspection?

    Absolutely! Here at Diamond Heritage Inspections, we believe that communication is most effective between home inspectors and potential buyers when we can share our thoughts and observations in person before our customers receive the entire digital report.

  • What inspection services are offered?

    The main portion of our process is the home inspection. The components of this are listed in question one. Other services that our team can perform to take you more in-depth are:


    - WDO (termite inspections)

    - Radon testing

    - Sewer scopes

    - Level two chimney inspections

  • Will the inspector give advice on whether to buy the house or not?

    No. As home inspectors, our job is to equip the buyer with as much relevant information as possible so they can make the best decision on whether to move forward with the house or not.

  • How many inspectors does your company have?

    We have six home inspectors that can account for up to 14 inspection slots per day. Give us a call to learn more.

  • Are the inspectors on your team certified?

    Yes, all home inspectors on our team are members of InterNACHI. We have all been trained and passed the home inspector exam to become certified home inspectors. We also participate in additional education on a continual basis.
